deck

the deck is 18'- 0" x 16'- 0" and made of western red cedar, as is the picnic table.

both were treated with sansin sdf enviro stain.
it is a great place to entertain, or the just sit and relax

chimney

the insulated pipe chimney was replaced this summer. the previous one lasted 30 years.

roof

the roof was redone this past summer using 30 year bp mystique shingles, with a layer of ice and water shield on the peaks, valleys, and 3 feet up from all edges. all valleys have metal flashing and are woven.

eaves

new 4" aluminum eaves were added this past summer to control the water run off.

dock

a new cedar 8'- 0" x 8'- 0" floating dock with a 4'- 0" x 8'- 0" ramp was built this past summer, making it easy for two or more to sit by the lake and read, or to sit and enjoy the lake.

property

the property is just under half an acre.

it has 100'- 0" of lake frontage, 150'- 0" of road frontage, and is 160'- 0" deep.

we are on the west side of the lake, and have a beautiful view of the sun rise.

the lot is clean and open with a mix of mature birch, poplar, red pine, and spruce.

lake vader

lake vader is a private, 10 acre, spring fed, no motor lake. it is usually a blissful 24 degrees or better by july, and stays comfortably warm into early october. the last swim of the year is usually thanks giving weekend.

it is an absolute joy to swim in.

garage

the 16'- 0" x 20'- 0" garage has been clad in 1'x 9" pine, and had a new roof installed this past summer.

30 year bp mystique shingles were used.

kitchen

the kitchen is clean, modern and open with ample work surfaces

bathroom

the four piece bathroom is clean, and modern

living area

the living room area is bright, and comfortable and offers a great view the lake.

dining area

dining area is bright, and open, with a great view of the lake thru the large picture window

main bedroom

the main bedroom is spacious and inviting. it has a large sitting area great for a read, or a rest.

guest bedroom

the guest bedroom is bright, and airy with a sliding french door for privacy.

pantry

the pantry next to the kitchen has a separate entrance, a laundry sink, and a great shelving system.

it really helps keep the cottage clean and organized.

wood stove

the triumph wood stove does a great job of heating up our cottage even on the coldest of winter days
