a local, privately owned observatory which gives tours through out the summer. 
and offers a wonderful opportunity to see our universe up close.

a local area favorite, with great food and wonderful, lively atmosphere.

great food, and a really good draft in the heart of bancroft

mirrors restaurant (paudash lake)
great food, great place, great owners. i love taking my boat to paudash lake, for some boating, swimming and hiking around the lake, and i always leave room for lunch at mirrors which is located right on the lake and has convenient docks for mooring.


rockhound gemboree (bancroft)
an annual gem show that takes place in bancroft every summer

coe hill fair (coe hill)
an annual fall fair with horse pulls, demolition derby, and a midway

tin shed (bancroft)
a local antique store in downtown bancroft

whites auction (paudash lake)
a weekly auction house that has just about anything

algonquin park
no need to elaborate here

paddlers co-op (palmer rapids)
a not-for-profit organization that provides high quality outdoor programs for new and experienced paddlers, kids, families, schools and other outdoor professionals

kawartha dairy (bancroft)
quite possibly the best ice cream i have ever had
